DIETITIANS WEEK 2018
Dietitians Do Prevention
Dietitians Do Prevention was the theme for 2018’s Dietitian’s Week which aimed to highlight the fantastic work that all dietitians do to prevent illness or optimise health, be that in primary care or acute settings, industry or education.
The recipe book features a collection of tried and tested recipes by dietitians across South Africa in honour of Dietitians Week 2018. Including some of these recipes as part of a healthy diet may help to prevent nutrition-related diseases and complications.
Each year the Department of Health compiles a Health Awareness Calendar which marks various national and international health days. Click below to download the 2020 Health Awareness Calender.
ADSA is proudly dedicated to the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding. The World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) is the greatest outreach vehicle for the breastfeeding movement celebrated annually in over 120 countries around the world from 1 – 7 August.
