Private Practice Management Workshops

The Private Practice Management Workshops that Dieticians at Work’s Sue Scharf ran nationwide earlier this year, were an enormous success. The workshops will be held on 26 August 2006 in Johannesburg and on 9 September 2006 in the Western Cape.

Workshops have been scheduled for Sat 26th August in the Johannesburg area and Sat 9th September in the Western Cape. Times: 9am - 2pm.
 

The workshops will run for 5 hours, including a 30 minute lunch and 2 tea breaks. The cost includes interactive, hands-on sessions as well as a comprehensive manual with the following:
 

  • Check-List for starting up a Private Practice (including cost-saving tips)
  • List of tools required / recommended
  • Legal implications
  • Managing accounts and statements (according to requirements for the Council for Medical Schemes)
  • Basic book-keeping
  • Basic counselling skills

 

There will be the option to purchase equipment and software.

 

REGISTRATION DETAILS

 There are a maximum of 15 Dieticians per workshop, so book early to avoid disappointment

 Registration costs R700. This includes workshop fee, manual, lunches and teas.
