My name is René Smalberger and I am the Membership Relations portfolio holder on the ADSA Executive Committee for 2004-2006. I am a private practicing dietitian in Port Elizabeth and have been an ADSA member since 1992.
Being responsible for the Membership Portfolio over the past two years has been very exciting. We currently have approximately 1350 members, out of approximately 1600 dietitians registered at the HPCSA. This means that ADSA is an expanding organisation, with a growing voice. I trust that we, as a professional organisation, will become indispensable to all South African dietitians.
